About Us At Hillcrest Country Club , we pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional golfing experience from the moment our members and guests arrive. Located in Indianapolis, our facility features 18 holes at a private country club accommodations dedicated to world-class service, pristine course conditions, and a welcoming atmosphere. Role Overview We are seeking enthusiastic, customer-service-driven individuals to join our Outside Services Team . As the first and last point of contact for golfers visiting our facility, you will play a critical role in shaping their experience. You will oversee bag drop operations, golf cart fleet management, practice facility upkeep, and overall player assistance.
Key Responsibilities First Impressions & Bag Drop:
Greet members and guests warmly upon arrival, assist with loading golf bags onto carts, and provide clear directions or information regarding play for the day.
Golf Cart Fleet Management:
Maintain a clean, fully charged, and well-staged fleet of golf carts. Perform daily staging, detailing, fueling/charging, and proper storage at the end of the day.
Practice Facility Maintenance:
Keep the driving range and short-game areas fully stocked with practice balls, clean tee lines, maintain alignment target areas, and operate the range ball picker.
Post-Round Service:
Greet golfers completing their rounds, clean golf clubs, offer assistance with bags back to vehicles, and ensure carts are returned, cleaned, and staged.
Operations & Communication:
Work closely with the Golf Shop and Starter team to ensure seamless tee-time flow and maintain communication regarding player pace or facility needs.
Qualifications & Requirements Customer First Mindset:
Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, positive, and attentive attitude.
Reliability & Punctuality:
Dependable attendance is required, including willingness to work flexible hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods, and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs (golf bags, range crates, equipment).
Driver's License:
Valid driver's license required to operate golf carts and range utility vehicles.
Golf Knowledge:
Basic familiarity with golf etiquette and terminology is preferred, but not required—a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are most important!
