- Lift Attendant Hancock, MA Apply Seasonal \| Full-Time or Part-Time Be part of the team that keeps the mountain moving! Our Lift Operators are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our nine chair lifts while delivering friendly, helpful service to every guest. This role is essential to both guest safety and the overall skiing and riding experience at Jiminy Peak. Position Details
- Hourly position reporting to the Lift Supervisor and Lift Operations Manager
Monday-Friday:
First shift: 8:00am- 3:15pm \| Second shift: 3:15pm

- Seasonal role typically runs from late November through early April (weather dependent) Responsibilities & Duties
- Greet and assist guests with a friendly, professional approach
- Check tickets and provide general resort information
- Ensure safe guest loading and unloading procedures on all lifts
- Direct guests into proper positions for boarding lifts
- Verify safety straps are used and intervene if unsafe behavior is observed
- Understand mechanical operations of lifts and communicate issues promptly
- Maintain unloading ramps, ensuring proper snow depth and grooming
- Manage lift corrals and perform related duties as directed by supervisors
- Operate Yuma Tablets and Hand-Held scanners to manage RFID gate access
- Demonstrate full knowledge of all ticket types and enforce Fraudulent Pass Procedures
- Communicate effectively with Ticketing staff to support smooth operations
- Accurately complete all required shift paperwork Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Available to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and a guest-first attitude
- Punctual, safety-conscious, and able to work well with a variety of people
- Must be able to deliver excellent customer service in all guest interactions
