Job Description

SUMMARY Responsible for effectively serving resort and golf course guests, completing tasks as assigned by management, and ensuring that the standard for guest services is met.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collects green fees, reserves tee times, sells golf supplies and starts players on the golf course. Assists golf course guests with loading and unloading of carts, as needed. Cleans and checks carts after each use. Picks range balls and washes said balls as assigned. Using excellent customer service skills, establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees and members of the general public. Enforces established rules of course among golfers such as out of bound areas, cart regulations, wearing of proper clothing and practicing at designated sites. Knowledge of tournament schedule. Assists Golf Professional/Pro Shop Manager in keeping records of season pass holder and private cart usage. Keeps the pro shop area in a neat and orderly condition. Assists golf pro in pricing merchandise and inventory. Receives and responds to complaints from golfers. Adheres to established cash control policies and procedures of the casino. All other duties as assigned.
REPORTING LINE
You will report directly to the Golf Pro.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times. The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner. The ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations Proven experience providing high level of guest service The ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide The ability to read, write, comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English The availability to work all shifts. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stressful situations. Must be at least 18 years old. Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company. The ability to verify the right to work in the United States.
EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the property for prolonged periods of time. Ability to push, pull, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crawl, twist, sit, climb, balance, carry and lift to 25 lbs. Constant use of hearing, speech, vision (including distinguishing between shades of color), radios, and tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.
