Job Description
Position OverviewLove helping people find the perfect souvenir, gift, or new favorite sweatshirt? Enjoy creating a welcoming environment and making someones day a little brighter? You might be the perfect fit for our Retail Attendant team!
As a Retail Attendant, youll help create a fun and memorable shopping experience for our Resort guests. From ringing up purchases and helping guests find just the right item to answering questions about the Resort, youll be one of the friendly faces our guests can count on.
Youll also help keep the shop clean, organized, stocked, and looking its best so every guest has a great experience from the moment they walk in.
Welcome guests with a friendly, positive attitude and provide excellent customer service.
Help guests find gifts, clothing, souvenirs, and other retail items.
Answer guest questions and share general knowledge about the Resort, including its history, amenities, and building locations.
Operate the cash register and accurately handle and count cash.
Complete deposits accurately and responsibly.
Keep the retail shop clean, organized, and guest-ready throughout the day.
Assist guests with questions, comments, or concerns and help find solutions whenever possible.
Pitch in with other duties and projects as needed, were a team!
What Were Looking ForA friendly, outgoing personality and a genuine desire to help others.
Great attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Clear, positive communication with guests and teammates.
The ability to manage your time, stay on task, and meet deadlines.
Flexibility to work varying hours based on Resort needs.
Someone who can work independently while also being a great team player.
Physical RequirementsThis is an active role!
Climbing stairs, reaching, and bending throughout the workday.
Occasionally lifting more than 25 pounds.
ExperienceRetail experience is preferred, but a great attitude goes a long way!
Hospitality or guest service experience is a plus.#GVL
