Fairways of Woodside is a public 18-hole golf course dedicated to providing a fun and enjoyable experience for our members and guests. We take pride in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and high-quality service both on and off the course.

Position Overview:

We are seeking friendly, reliable, and golf-knowledgeable individuals to join our team as Starters/Rangers. This position plays a key role in creating a smooth and enjoyable golfing experience by ensuring the proper pace of play, enforcing course policies, and assisting golfers with questions or needs on the course.

Responsibilities:

Greet golfers and manage tee time flow at the first tee. Monitor pace of play on the course and politely encourage groups to keep proper speed. Enforce golf course rules and etiquette in a professional manner. Provide assistance to golfers as needed (directions, lost items, course information). Assist with cart staging and cleanliness as needed. Communicate effectively with the Pro Shop and management regarding course conditions or issues. Occasional open/closing duties Assisting with golfer check-in when needed Represent the golf course with a positive and customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications:

Strong customer service and communication skills. Knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and pace-of-play standards (preferred but not required). Ability to remain professional and courteous in all situations. Reliable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
