Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Service Worker to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing food, and maintaining a clean and welcoming work environment. If you have a passion for the culinary industry and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Responsibilities:
- Prepare, package and label sushi and other required recipes.
- Clean and set up food display and ensure it filled with fresh product daily
- Does prep work efficiently by washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients, set up workstations, manage inventory, and maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve our goals and maintain a positive atmosphere, perform duties as required to meet standards and efficiency.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts.
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is welcomed but not required
- Experience handling and preparing produce is an asset
- 30 days to acquire food handler certificate is essential
- Ability to work in a team environment and be self sufficient
- Must be at least 16
Skills:
- Experience with food preparation and handling
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to receive help when needed
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds
