Until Filled Food Services Aide (Fairview Center Head Start) - Provide assistance to the Cook in the kitchen to prepare meals for children, wash dishes, and keep kitchen areas clean and sanitary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED Knowledge of Large Scale Food Production - generally gained through a minimum of six months experience/education in food service Ability to Assure Proper Food Temperatures and Sanitary Kitchen Areas to Maintain Health Standards Ability to Balance the Unexpected (staff shortages, equipment malfunctions, etc.) with Strict Meal Schedules Working Knowledge of Sanitation and Safety Procedures Ability to Work as a Team Member with Staff and Parents Must have current Alaska Drivers License, personal vehicle insurance and a good driving record. Knowledge of standard cleaning techniques, application of proper cleansers, characteristics of surfaces to be cleaned and equipment required to perform tasks. Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds Capable of Getting UP and Down from the Floor with Ease Can Stand and/or Sit for Extended Periods of Time Interchangeably

Salary:
