Duties Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation meet expectations. Serve food and beverages to customers in person, providing friendly and attentive customer service that enhances the dining experience. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, dishwashers, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions efficiently. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning workstations, utensils, and dining areas following food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure a hygienic environment. Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management while adhering to food safety management protocols. Support catering and banquet events by setting up tables, serving guests, and managing food portions with precision. Handle manual tasks including weight handling in the workplace and processing cash transactions accurately. Skills Proven experience in food service environments such as restaurants, catering, or banquet settings with a focus on hospitality excellence. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitizing procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Excellent customer service skills with in-person interaction experience that fosters positive guest relationships. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing inventory counts accurately. Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and payment handling. Experience with culinary preparation, including food presentation and dietary considerations. Knowledge of wine service or beverage pairing is a plus for enhancing guest experiences.
