Responsibilities:

Leadership:

Assist the Director of Food & Nutrition Services in developing and implementing strategic plans, policies, and procedures to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Operations:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the food and nutrition services, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.

Quality Control:

Ensure that all food and nutrition services meet our high standards for quality, safety, and sanitation.

Staff Management:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

Budgeting:

Assist with budget planning and management, ensuring that food and nutrition services are provided within budget constraints.

Customer Service:

Foster positive relationships with patients, families, and staff, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

Requirements:

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience in food and nutrition services, with a strong background in management.

Certifications:

Food Safety Certification, ServSafe, or equivalent.

Skills:

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
