Hotel Breakfast Attendant

Job Overview Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Hotel Breakfast Attendant, where you will be the welcoming face and essential support for our guests during their morning experience. This lively role involves preparing and serving a delicious breakfast buffet, maintaining a clean and inviting dining area, and ensuring every guest starts their day with exceptional service. Duties Set up breakfast buffet stations with fresh food items, beverages, and condiments, ensuring everything is appealing and well-stocked throughout service. Prepare food items as needed, including basic cooking, food handling, and meal preparation to meet guest demand. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables, bussing dishes, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold health standards. Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu offerings, and provide friendly guest services to enhance their experience. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for any paid breakfast options or special requests. Support catering or banquet functions related to breakfast service when required. Follow all food safety guidelines and dietary restrictions to ensure safe handling and presentation of food. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, catering, or restaurant environments is highly preferred. Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and phone etiquette. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, knife skills, meat cutting, and basic cooking methods. Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with cleaning protocols, food safety standards, and dietary accommodations. Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not required; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential.
