POSITION TITLE
Child Nutrition Program (CNP) - Worker
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
REPORTS TO
CNP Manager, CNP Supervisor, Principal or Principal's designee
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for Manager for food preparation, service, storage and sanitation. Follow work schedules of the Manager and carry out all assignments of the Manager in a cooperative manner. Learn and exercise proper care and use of all equipment. Keep all work areas clean and orderly. Provide proof of a negative TB test annually. Adhere to Board policy on uniform and personal appearance. Participate in activities that will promote the school food service program. Record daily, the name and amount of each food item and supply that is taken from storage. Observe proper sanitation and safety precautions in the kitchen Wear belt when lifting Responsible for assisting in the cleaning of the kitchen and dining room. This is to be done as often as necessary to ensure that the food service area is clean at all times. May be required to do mopping, heavy lifting, bending, squatting and twisting Produce satisfactory work on job tasks in a reasonable period of time. Cooperate with Health Department officials in supporting all local, state and federal public health laws and codes. Attend all in-service meetings and workshops as requested. To perform any other position related duties as assigned. Maintain the confidentiality of student records.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary and work year to be according to the current approved/applicable salary schedule .
EVALUATION
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel.
