Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Breakfast Attendant/Float, where your energy and attention to detail will ensure a seamless and enjoyable breakfast experience for our guests. In this versatile role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious breakfast offerings, maintaining impeccable cleanliness standards, and providing exceptional in-person customer service. As a float, you will also support various areas within the restaurant to ensure smooth operations during busy mornings or staff shortages. Your enthusiasm and dedication will contribute to creating a welcoming environment that delights our guests from the moment they walk in. Duties Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established recipes and food safety guidelines, including hot and cold dishes, beverages, and garnishes Maintain cleanliness of all food preparation areas, dining spaces, and kitchen equipment by following strict sanitizing procedures Assist with food handling, portioning, and presentation to ensure high-quality service standards are met Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, toasters, coffee machines, and POS (Point of Sale) systems for processing cash transactions Support other restaurant functions such as setting up buffet stations, replenishing supplies, and managing food waste Provide friendly in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating dietary needs or special requests Follow food safety management protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations and proper manual handling practices for weight handling in the workplace Experience Previous experience in fine dining or food service environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cleaning routines, and food safety sanitizing procedures Experience operating kitchen equipment and POS systems in a restaurant or catering setting Knowledge of wine pairing or beverage service is a plus but not mandatory Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests in person Ability to handle manual tasks involving weight handling safely and efficiently throughout shifts Previous banquet or catering experience is advantageous; dietary aide or culinary experience can be beneficial Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional breakfast experiences in a lively hospitality environment!
