Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm, welcoming atmosphere while preparing and serving breakfast offerings with precision and care. Your enthusiasm and commitment to excellent service will help create memorable mornings for our guests, setting the tone for their entire stay or visit. Responsibilities Prepare and set up breakfast stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and ready for service Greet guests warmly, provide friendly assistance, and answer any questions about the breakfast menu Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing tables, bussing dishes, and sanitizing surfaces regularly Assist with food handling, portioning, and presentation to uphold safety standards and quality expectations Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling accurately Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service flow throughout the breakfast hours Support catering or banquet setups when required, including food delivery and presentation for special events Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure compliance with health regulations and dietary restrictions Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences through effective communication and teamwork Qualifications Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality roles such as host/hostess or server is preferred Knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and food handling safety standards Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable or phone etiquette is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience with cleaning routines including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces effectively Knowledge of dietary accommodations and food safety regulations is highly desirable Must be reliable, punctual, and able to stand for extended periods during shifts Join us as a Breakfast Attendant where your enthusiasm meets your culinary skills!
