Position Summary We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and energetic Breakfast Attendant to join our Home2 Suites team. The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing, maintaining, and cleaning the complimentary breakfast area while providing welcoming and attentive service to our guests. This position helps create a positive start to each guest's day by ensuring breakfast items are fresh, fully stocked, and presented according to Home2 Suites and Hilton brand standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare and set up the breakfast area before service begins. Welcome guests and provide friendly, helpful service. Prepare, replenish, and neatly display all breakfast food and beverage items. Monitor food temperatures, freshness, quality, and appearance throughout breakfast service. Maintain adequate supplies of coffee, beverages, utensils, plates, cups, and condiments. Keep the breakfast area, serving stations, tables, counters, and floors clean and organized. Clear and sanitize tables promptly for incoming guests. Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling requirements. Accurately label, date, rotate, and store food products. Monitor inventory and notify management when food or supplies need to be reordered. Respond professionally to guest questions, requests, and dietary concerns. Break down and thoroughly clean the breakfast area after service. Wash dishes and clean equipment, appliances, and food-preparation areas. Remove trash and properly dispose of food waste. Communicate maintenance, supply, or guest-service concerns to the appropriate department. Follow Home2 Suites and Hilton brand standards, hotel policies, and safety procedures. Assist other hotel departments as needed. Qualifications Previous food-service, hospitality, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required. A valid food handler card may be required. Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude. Strong attention to cleanliness, presentation, and food safety. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Dependable attendance and punctuality are required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be available to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Ability to work around hot equipment, food products, and cleaning supplies.
