Job description Sedona Mago Center for Well-Being and Retreat is hiring for a full-time Front of House Staff position to join our Culinary Team. We are looking for a dependable and service-minded candidate with restaurant, dining, or hospitality experience.

On-site, Sedona Mago Center for Well-Being and Retreat Position Summary Front of House Staff support daily dining operations by assisting with dining area setup, meal service, guest and staff hospitality, cleaning, dishwashing support, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment. Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup, maintenance, and cleanliness of all dining areas
• Welcome staff and guests to the dining area in a warm and professional manner
• Assist with serving meals and drinks to staff and guests
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries as needed
• Support dishwashing and kitchen cleaning duties when needed
• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand
• Store clean dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, and supplies in designated areas
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition
• Remove trash and place it in designated pickup areas
• Sweep, scrub, and clean floors and work areas as needed
• Move supplies, equipment, or food between storage and work areas as needed
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Assist other Culinary Team members as assigned by supervisor Food Worker Certificate A food worker certificate is required for any person who handles, prepares, serves, sells, or gives away food for human consumption, including those whose duties are restricted to busing or washing dishes.

New food workers must obtain their certificate within 30 days of hire. Physical Requirements/Characteristics

• Must be able to frequently move indoors and outdoors to access dining areas, kitchen areas, staff, guests, supplies, and equipment
• Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle, operate, and use kitchen utensils, equipment, and cleaning supplies
• May occasionally need to climb stairs or ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or reposition self
• Must be able to communicate clearly with staff, guests, and other team members
• Must be able to frequently lift, move, and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds
• May be exposed to heat, cold, cleaning chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, and elements of the desert climate/environment Qualifications
• Restaurant, dining, hospitality, or food service experience preferred
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dining environment
• Weekend availability required
• Dependable transportation required, unless living on-site
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check Additional Information
• On-site staff housing may be available for full-time staff at a reduced rate, depending on availability and operational needs.
• Three free meals provided daily
• Our retreat center is located off a 10.5-mile unpaved road, so dependable transportation is required unless living on-site
