Evenings, Weekends & Holidays About the Role Five Senses Modern Japanese is seeking a dependable, hospitality-minded Busser to support our front-of-house team and help maintain an elevated, seamless dining experience for every guest. The Busser plays an essential role in keeping the dining room clean, organized, and service-ready while providing hands-on support to servers, hosts, and management. The ideal candidate is attentive, efficient, and takes pride in maintaining a polished restaurant environment. Key Responsibilities Promptly and professionally clear, clean, and reset tables throughout service Assist servers with food running, beverage service, table maintenance, and other guest needs Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining room throughout the shift Keep restrooms, service areas, and guest-facing spaces clean and properly stocked Maintain and replenish service stations with plates, glassware, utensils, napkins, and other necessary supplies Assist with pre-service setup and end-of-shift closing duties Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and management Anticipate the needs of the service team and assist wherever needed Maintain a professional, positive, and guest-focused attitude throughout the shift What We're Looking For Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks during busy service Excellent attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail Reliable, punctual, and accountable Team-oriented with a willingness to jump in wherever needed Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Professional and courteous communication skills Ability to remain composed and attentive during busy service periods Genuine interest in providing thoughtful and attentive hospitality Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to frequently lift and carry plates, trays, glassware, and other restaurant supplies Ability to bend, reach, and move efficiently throughout the dining room and service areas Why Join Five Senses?
