Duties Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring they are spotless and properly set for incoming guests Assist servers by bussing dishes, glassware, and silverware promptly after use Maintain high standards of sanitation through regular cleaning of tables, chairs, and dining areas Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, chairs, or supplies using safe lifting practices Support food safety protocols by ensuring cleanliness and proper sanitation of all surfaces and utensils Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnover and guest needs Assist with light food service tasks when necessary, including refilling water or delivering condiments Experience Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is highly valued Familiarity with sanitation standards and cleaning procedures within the food industry Strong communication skills to interact positively with team members and guests Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing Knowledge of basic table setting, serving etiquette, and hospitality principles is a plus Experience with catering or kitchen operations can enhance your ability to support various restaurant functions
