Job Purpose:
Provides servers and guests with a clean and stocked dining roomJob Duties and Responsibilities:
(Note:
Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management at any time) Ensures safe and sanitary dining areas by cleaning table and chair surfaces, replacing used tablecloths, plates, cups and utensils, sweeping floors, transporting bus carts to the dishwashing station, disposing of all trash, and resetting tables as needed.- 50% Provides guests with service by acknowledging and welcoming guests entering the restaurant, taking beverage orders, delivering requested beverages, and responding to guest requests.
- 15% Ensures restaurant stations are stocked and clean by placing delivered water, food supplies, cups and condiments in the server stations in the kitchens, and cleaning coffee machines, soda machines, sinks, shelves and counters according to established procedures.
- 15% Promotes guest relations by responding to guest requests, offering appropriate up to date information regarding promotional contests and giveaways, providing requested assistance and product knowledge, and treating guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- 10% In the absence of a Host/Hostess, provides guests with service by taking food orders over the phone, relaying food order to servers, acknowledging and welcoming guests entering the restaurant, documenting guest count, alerting servers and guests when table is available, seating guests, and responding to guest requests.
