F&B Attendant, GPI Pay Details:
The starting hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour. F&B Attendants assist in the overall operation of all Food & Beverage outlets. This is a part-time, event-based position located within the Food and Beverage Department of the Great Park Ice and Sports Complex. Hours for this position fluctuate depending on the arena event schedule. Responsibilities Greet guests in a warm and welcoming manner Expedite guest food orders promptly at concession stands, portables, and restaurant areas Stock product, set up condiment stations, cashier stations, and display baskets Assist in the preparation of food items in all Food and Beverage areas Assist cashiers with orders and pour beverages Check concessions equipment to ensure proper use Thoroughly complete all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities Practice proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment Partner with other team members to ensure food and beverage quality Understand and execute responsible alcohol service Understand and maintain proper sanitation and food safety Be comfortable with the arena and know how to navigate personally and assist guests Support any other Food & Beverage departments as needed Other duties as assigned Skills Must be a minimum of 21 years of age Previous customer service and cash handling experience is a plus Able to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment in which guest satisfaction is always the goal Works well with others; establishing and maintaining effective relationships with fellow workers and supervisors Able to multi-task Strong attention to detail and proven customer service skills Exceptional organization and prioritization is a must Must be able to work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Education- High School Diploma or Equivalent Certifications Required
