From scenic gardens to peaceful outdoor settings, each gathering offers guests a chance to enjoy good food, tea, and meaningful connections. We're looking for someone who loves hospitality and would enjoy being part of a small team creating something special—one location at a time. About the Role We're seeking a warm, attentive Afternoon Tea Hospitality Attendant to help us host gatherings of approximately 20 guests. Our team provides all food, beverages, and teaware. You'll welcome guests, pour their first cup of tea, present food on serving trays, and provide personalized service for the final dessert course. Tea Service Welcome guests and pour the first round of tea. Keep additional prepared tea available and assist with refills as needed. Food & Dessert Service Present prepared food and desserts on trays, inviting guests to select their own portions. Provide individual service for the final dessert course. Coordinate with the event team to keep service flowing smoothly. Guest Care & Event Support Check on guests, respond to requests, and discreetly clear used dishes. Keep the tea table tidy and welcoming throughout the experience. Handle fine china and serving pieces with care. Assist with preparing the service area and carefully packing used teaware after the event. Requirements Experience in hospitality, food service, catering, or a similar guest-facing role. Excellent customer service and a warm, professional manner. Confidence serving approximately 20 guests as part of a small team. Ability to carry serving trays and handle delicate fine china carefully. Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized during service. Comfortable working outdoors, with indoor events when weather requires. Available to work a minimum of 5 hours per week initially, with flexibility to take on additional hours as our event schedule expands. A Plus, but Not Required Experience in fine dining, luxury hotels, upscale catering, or afternoon tea service. Why Join Us? This is a part-time, event-based position. As we expand our event calendar, there may be opportunities for additional shifts and responsibilities.
