SUMMARY Bussers are responsible for assisting Servers in providing exceptional service to our Members/Guests, while maintaining dining room cleanliness, clearing, and setting tables in a timely and efficient manner. They are responsible for performing station opening/closing set up for each shift, restocking and maintaining clean, sanitary service areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Bussers are responsible for assisting Servers in providing exceptional service to our Members/Guests, while maintaining dining room cleanliness, clearing and setting tables in a timely and efficient manner Serves water as members and guests are seated. Assists in carrying food trays to tables. Removes soiled dishes and linens from table; brings to dish-washing area. Sets tables with silverware, glassware and other items. Cleans dining room areas. They are responsible for performing station opening/closing set up for each shift, restocking and maintaining clean, sanitary service areas. Stocks servers' station with supplies. Dusts chairs before and after meals. Keeps ice bins and buckets filled. Sets-up, clears and cleans areas used during dining or event service Cleans and stores child high chairs and booster seats. Collects soiled linen from dining room; transfers to linen pick-up area. Takes packaged take-out orders to reception stand for member pick-up. Folds napkins and bread basket linens. Cleans-up spills, broken service ware and attends to similar problems during service with minimal disruption to diners. Assists Dining Room Manager and other employees in assuring that the club's policies and procedures for serving alcoholic beverages are consistently followed. May assist banquet personnel in setting-up, serving and cleaning up after banquet functions. Polishes silver service items. Attends pre-service training (line-up meeting). Moves tables and chairs as needed for the next member and guest diners. Re-sets tables at end of shift for the next meal period. Assists with banquet and buffet setup. Helps to maintain a fully stocked buffet. Notify manager of any problems with equipment or breakage that would affect the supply of necessary items for service. Notify the manager of any guest complaints no matter how small it may seem. Performs other appropriate duties as assigned. Physical Demands and Work Environment Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to understand the Club's Table Management system. Good verbal and written communication skills. Experience working in a team-oriented environment. Must be able to work collaboratively and treat others with respect. Knowledge of principles for dealing directly with the public. Excellent organization and problem-solving skills. Physical demands of the job include but are not limited to: Standing and walking during entire 8-hour shift Reaches, bends, stoops, lifts Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds in weight on a semi regular basis

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Restock glassware, ice and beverage items in service and bar area. Polish, roll and prep silverware used in silverware roll-ups. Clear and clean all plates and glassware from tables in dining areas. Reset tables in a timely manner to ensure all members/guests can be sat in a timely manager, ensuring tables are set according to Club's guidelines. Make sure the chairs and floors around tables are clean. Assist with pre-clearing plates at tables, beverage refills and wrapping of leftover food following Club's wrapping procedures. Notify manager of any problems with equipment or breakage that would affect the supply of necessary items for service. Notify the manager of any guest complaints no matter how small it may seem. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or GED required. One year of restaurant bussing experience. Licenses and Special Permits Food Safety certification
