The Peter B's Bussers are responsible for assisting the Food Server in serving guests. They must have good communication skills, the ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight and be willing to work with urgency in a fast paced environment with continual customer contact.THE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS OF THIS JOB ARE
Responsible for serving guests while complying with a sequence of customer service standards to positively impact the guests' experience Ability to assume a pleasant and helpful attitude towards guests and fellow staff members Responsible for maintaining work areas and equipment clean Responsible for clearing, wiping down and setting tables with dishes, napkins, silverware, glassware and condiments for the next guest Assists serving staff in delivering food orders to tables Responsible for refilling guest water glasses and coffee cups Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas Complete food and beverage knowledge and be able to communicate in detail to guests Comply with the Company's standards of conduct Assist bartenders with refilling ice bins, washing glassware, bussing dishes and replacing beverage products when scheduled as bar back The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this position. Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends and holidays based upon company needs.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITES
Knowledge of the entire hotel food & safety compliance procedures, hotel safety procedures to ensure the safety and security of our guests and employees.EDUCATIONAL / CERTIFICATION / LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent- Required California Food Handlers / ServSafe Certification
- Required State approved Certification Alcohol management
