Job Description

Overview Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Food Service Workers to support operations at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System located at the Palo Alto Division, Building 100 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304 and the Menlo Park Division located ate Building 329 795 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025. Multiple shift schedules available between 5:30 AM - 7:30 PM. To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers' success as if it is their own. Responsibilities Assemble patient meal trays and food items.
Portion and prepare:
Entrées Meats Vegetables Potatoes Salads Desserts Beverages Condiments Place food items on trays according to patient tray tickets and menus. Deliver meal trays to patient wards and dining rooms. Break down and clean tray lines after meal service. Scrape, sort, stack, and rack trays and dishware for washing. Load and unload commercial dishwashing equipment. Clean and store pots, pans, and kitchen equipment Store food deliveries and supplies. Place products in designated refrigerators and freezers. Qualifications Must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this job Current Food Handler Certificate from: ServSafe, or ANAB-accredited / ANSI-approved program Subject to a background/suitability investigation Employment reference checks Completed physical examination prior to starting A complete application package Selected applications will be required to complete an online onboarding process All candidates must be able to: Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist Lift up to 20 lbs Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance Push/pull with 30 lbs of force All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
