  • Coffee Quality Leader is the driving force behind the coffee program inside your café.
You are responsible for protecting the standards in every drink. From espresso calibration and recipe consistency to coaching baristas and introducing new coffees, you ensure our coffee program is executed with precision every day. Working alongside the Cafe Manager and our Coffee Direction team, you transform our coffee our quality vision into daily habits, and help your team continuously grow in confidence and consistency. This role is designed for coffee professionals who aspire to become exceptional Cafe Mangers and overall leaders. As the second-in-command of the café, you'll develop the operational, leadership, and coaching skills needed to become a future Cafe Manager while serving as the acting Cafe Manager whenever they are away.

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will have: Two + years of specialty coffee experience. Two + years of proven success in a coffee leadership + educational position. Strong espresso calibration, milk texturing, latte art, and manual brewing skills. A genuine desire to develop others through coaching, constructive feedback, and consistent accountability. Exceptional attention to detail and pride in delivering consistent quality. Strong communication and organizational skills. A calm, professional presence during busy service. A desire to continue growing toward a future Cafe Manager position.
General Responsiblities:
Champion coffee quality and recipe consistency throughout every shift. Reinforce brewing standards, beverage recipes, product SOPs and product presentation with the team. Coach and develop baristas through daily feedback and hands-on training. Partner with the Coffee Direction team to successfully launch new coffees, seasonal beverages, and updated brewing standards. Monitor espresso calibration, milk quality, pour-over execution, and beverage presentation throughout the day. Support the Cafe Manager in daily operations, staffing, inventory, and overall café performance. Lead shifts with professionalism, warmth, via coaching & accountability. Serve as the acting Cafe Manager whenever the Cafe Manager is away, ensuring smooth operations and consistent leadership. Help maintain exceptional Overall Cafe Visuals (OCV), customer experience, and operational excellence. Foster a positive culture centered around coffee education, craftsmanship, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
