Job Description

Compensation:
$18.00 to $19.00 per hour Clear and reset tables and assist the food servers in their duties while providing courteous, professional and efficient service to the guests. Essential Job Functions Promptly, courteously and warmly greet guests while serving water, calling them by name whenever possible. Promptly and courteously pour coffee and non-alcoholic beverages when requested, and provide bread service when and where appropriate. Accurately set-up tables before opening, according to prescribed hotel requirements and layout. Stock and maintain service stations with the proper supplies before, during and after each shift. Promptly and quietly clear and reset used tables. Remove dirty stock to dish area and breakdown trays. Take soiled linen to the Housekeeping Department for laundering. Promptly assist servers in the delivery of order and pre-busing tables. Accurately and timely set up and breakdown daily buffet and Sunday Brunch, according to the hotel requirements and layout. Set up and refill coffee-to-go station in the lobby and keep it replenished, as needed. Keep area picked up and clean. Make sure floor surfaces are free of debris during and after each shift. Assist in the general cleaning and maintenance of the restaurant. Declare tips according to the IRS standards. Managerial Functions Promptly and courteously escort customers to their seats. Promptly and courteously fill any requests; highchair, booster seats, etc. Present menus in a friendly manner. Assist or work in Room Service as business needs dictate. Stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods. Efficiently and quickly carry trays, set and clear tables, and carry table utensils.
