Part-Time Position Summary The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing, presenting, and maintaining the hotel's complimentary breakfast while providing exceptional guest service. This position ensures that the breakfast area remains clean, well-stocked, organized, and in compliance with hotel and brand standards.

Requirements:

Breakfast Service Set up the breakfast buffet according to hotel standards before service begins. Prepare and replenish food and beverage items throughout the breakfast shift. Monitor food quality, freshness, appearance, and portion levels. Ensure all breakfast items are displayed attractively and safely. Guest Service Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner. Respond promptly to guest requests and questions. Maintain a welcoming atmosphere in the breakfast area. Address guest concerns and notify management of any issues requiring follow-up. Cleanliness and Organization Keep the breakfast area, lobby seating, beverage stations, and serving areas clean and organized. Remove used dishes and wipe down tables throughout service. Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, counters, and equipment. Complete end-of-shift cleaning duties and closing procedures. Food Safety Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Monitor food temperatures and maintain required logs as directed. Properly store, rotate, and label food products. Comply with health department regulations and hotel policies. Inventory and Supplies Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies are low. Restock breakfast items, disposable products, and condiments. Assist with receiving and organizing food deliveries when needed. Additional Duties Assist with light housekeeping of public areas as assigned. Support other departments during busy periods. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous food service, restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred. Current food handler's certification or ability to obtain one. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and pushing. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Schedule Part-time position. Sunday mornings from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM Flexible availability required based on business needs. Performance Expectations Consistently maintain breakfast presentation and cleanliness standards.
