Position:
Banquet Captain Position Summary :
The Sanctuary Golf Course is currently hiring banquet captains to join our banquet team. This position offers a flexible schedule, primarily for seasonal employment with opportunities for year round scheduling based on performance. Schedule includes mornings, evenings and weekends for part-time and full-time. We provide five-star service for events including weddings, charity and social events, and golf tournaments.
Job Duties :
Banquet captains are responsible for leading the banquet team in setting room specifically for each event according to Banquet Event Order (BEO). Must be able to follow BEO for appropriate set up and tear down for each individual event. This includes but is not limited to linen, flatware, glassware, and china. Captains should have ability to move tables and chairs. In addition, you are required to complete opening and closing side work tasks. Captains are also responsible for overseeing all aspects of service during the event itself.
Skills and Qualifications:
Successful applicants will have a strong leadership abilities, strong work ethic, excellent people skills, and a desire to provide a high level of service to all guests. Ability to pay attention to details is very important. We are focused on creating a team oriented work environment and applicants should reflect the same attitude. Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time is necessary. Previous Captains experience is preferred.
Compensation:
Depends on experience: $22-$24 per hour including additional incentives. Please contact
