Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a friendly and dependable Breakfast Attendant. This position is responsible for setting up and maintaining the breakfast buffet, assisting guests, keeping food and beverages stocked, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining area. The Breakfast Attendant will also rotate into stewarding duties, including washing dishes and kitchen equipment. Key Responsibilities Set up the breakfast area each morning. Serve guests hot and cold breakfast items. Replenish food items, beverages, and breakfast supplies throughout service. Assist with brewing and serving a variety of coffees. Provide friendly and professional customer service to guests. Answer guest questions regarding breakfast items. Wipe down, clear, and reset tables during breakfast service. Set up, maintain, and break down breakfast stations. Properly store food and supplies after breakfast service. Clean surfaces and floors and prepare the lounge area for lunch. Rotate into stewarding duties, including washing dishes and kitchen equipment. Take out trash and keep trash containers clean and sanitized. Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. At least 1 year of food & beverage experience preferred. Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices. Familiarity with common breakfast items, dietary restrictions, and food allergens is a plus. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to stay organized and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Friendly, dependable, and guest-service oriented. Ability to work the 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM shift . Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to reach, crouch, bend, and kneel as needed. Comfortable working in wet, hot, and humid kitchen/dining environments. Ability to work safely on potentially wet or uneven surfaces. Ability to occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is reliable, energetic, and enjoys working with guests. They should be comfortable with early morning shifts, food service, cleaning responsibilities, and working as part of a hospitality team.
