! Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expediter to join our dynamic kitchen team. The Expediter plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are processed efficiently and accurately, facilitating communication between the kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel. This position is vital for maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Coordinate the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery to customers. Assist with food preparation as needed, including bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure all orders are prepared according to specifications and dietary requirements. Monitor food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and standards for food handling. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or special requests from guests promptly. Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient work environment, contributing to overall team success. Experience Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred, particularly in roles involving kitchen operations or customer interaction. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and safety standards is highly desirable. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration within the team and delivering excellent customer service. A proactive attitude towards helping others in a busy setting will be beneficial for success in this role.
