Job Description
Cafe Attendant Masonicare at Ashlar Village - Wallingford, CTDay & Evening Shift / 20hrs/wk / EOWReports to work on time in proper uniform standards; completes pre-meal assignments, serves customers per training standards, and completes post-meal assignments ensuring proper sanitation procedures. Must exhibit good customer service skills and attend all mandatory education programs.
Ability to follow proper cash handling, and credit card procedures as directed by supervisor. Completes all post-meal side-work assignments thoroughly and in the scheduled time provided and checked by supervisor. Attend/Completes all mandatory in services, obligations, meetings. Ensure proper safe food handling and hand washing procedures are followed, and proper sanitation of trays, work areas and equipment used. Day & Evening Shift / 20hrs/wk / EOW
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain adherence to posted schedule ensuring to follow proper procedures for requested days off and calling out, and reporting to work at the proper time. Maintain proper time-clock procedures to ensure an accurate account of hours worked. Report to work in proper uniform (laundered and maintained by employee) to ensure a clean and professional appearance. Complete all pre-meal side-work, and set up assignments thoroughly and within the scheduled time provided and checked by supervisor. Ensure tables assigned for service are checked for accuracy, cleanliness, and appearance. Participate in menu meeting before each service to ensure a thorough knowledge of menu items being served and other service instructions. Assists all patrons in a timely and efficient manner ensuring customer needs are identified and addressed utilizing all aspects of the training program provided. Demonstrates customer service skills, treating all customers and coworkers with courtesy and respect. Handles all customer issues professionally and uses all options provided to satisfy the customer. Clear tables in a timely, efficient, and non-obtrusive manner utilizing the standards of the training program.Ability to follow proper cash handling, and credit card procedures as directed by supervisor.
