Job Description
Role Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Assistant to support the success of our customer experience. This is a key position that ensures a clean, organized dining room, timely table service, prompt and accurate delivery of menu items, and seamless collaboration across service roles. It's ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment and is eager to learn and grow within the hospitality industry. Role Responsibilities Guest Experience & Table Support Deliver food and beverages accurately, with an understanding of menu details. Assist with guest needs and relay questions or concerns to the appropriate team member. Clear and reset tables within 3 minutes of guest departure. Assist with packaging takeout orders. Maintain awareness of the dining room and proactively assist where needed. Dining Room & Service Maintenance Keep kitchen expo areas, service stations, and dining room clean and organized. Polish and restock silverware, glassware, and plateware throughout the shift. Monitor and remove trash and recycling regularly. Ensure safe and clear walkways for guests and staff at all times. Operational & Team Support Memorize table and seat numbers to aid in efficient service. Learn menu details, ingredients, and allergen protocols. Communicate guest concerns clearly to team leads. Assist FOH staff during high-volume periods. Help with opening and closing duties, including setting/resetting the dining room. Role Qualifications Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, but not necessary. This is an entry level position where anyone with a passion for details will thrive. Polished, professional appearance with a positive, team-oriented attitude. Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important. Flexible availability preferred- may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and select holidays.
