Position Summary Setup of Buffet every morning. Operate the dishwasher. Load dirty dishes and unload and store clean dishes. Clean and maintain buffet line always stocked. Control quality and consistency of all food served Ensure that station or relevant prep list is set in a timely manner Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, food preparation checklist and number of covers to be served. Demonstrate safe and competent use of all tools: knives, pots, pans, stoves, ovens, steamers, etc. Always keep work area clean Lifts bus tubs to bus carts and pushes carts to the Kitchen. Cleans food serving areas, including counters, utensils, and food trays. Must be able to maintain the proper level of sanitation in accordance with health dept. and Stewarding standards in all kitchen outlets. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen through serving periods and after closing. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required, One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Six months previous kitchen worker experience is required Safe food handler certification, preferred. Available to work a flexible schedule which includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
