Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest satisfaction Handle restaurant reservation management using our table management systems, ensuring accurate booking and waitlist updates Assist guests with to-go orders, including taking phone orders via professional phone etiquette and entering details into POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timely service and ensure food safety standards are met Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and providing exceptional customer service throughout their experience Organize and maintain the cleanliness of the host stand area, including menus, reservation logs, and seating charts Support the restaurant's operational needs by assisting with basic math calculations for bill processing and order accuracy Qualifications Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred; strong guest services skills are essential Experience with restaurant reservation management and restaurant table management Excellent communication skills, including phone communication and etiquette, to engage with guests professionally Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and seating efficiently in a busy environment Knowledge of food safety protocols and hospitality standards to ensure guest well-being and satisfaction Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and order calculations This role is paid and offers an engaging environment where your hospitality talents can shine.
