The ideal candidate will ensure guests enjoy a welcoming and satisfying breakfast experience by maintaining cleanliness, food safety, and efficient service in the breakfast area. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop hospitality skills within a dynamic hotel environment, emphasizing guest relations and food service excellence. Duties Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly stocked Assist with food preparation, including basic cooking, slicing, and assembling menu items Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment in accordance with health standards Serve guests courteously, answer questions about menu items, and provide exceptional customer service Handle food safety procedures by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation protocols Restock supplies as needed and manage inventory levels for breakfast items Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for guest transactions when applicable Buss tables and assist with general cleaning duties to ensure a tidy environment Collaborate with kitchen staff and other hotel departments to deliver seamless guest experiences Uphold hotel standards for guest relations, communication, and overall hospitality service Experience Prior experience in food service, catering, or restaurant environments is preferred Experience with food preparation, cooking, or culinary tasks is advantageous Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Previous roles involving guest services or hospitality demonstrate strong customer relations skills Experience in buffet setup or banquet service can be beneficial Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures is essential Candidates with barista experience or dietary aide background are encouraged to apply Excellent communication skills, phone etiquette, and a friendly demeanor are required for success in this role
