The Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) Worker supports daily food service operations at school sites by preparing, serving, and cleaning up meals to ensure students receive safe, nutritious, and appealing food in compliance with USDA guidelines. The role is essential in promoting healthy eating habits and supporting a safe and efficient food service environment within the school district.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve meals according to USDA meal pattern requirements. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Clean and sanitize food preparation and service areas, including dishes and utensils. Assist with inventory control and restocking as needed. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times. Follow standardized recipes and portion control procedures. Support team members and perform other duties the manager or supervisor assigns.
