Situated on oceanfront Collins Avenue in the heart of Millionaire's Row, Fontainebleau Miami Beach is one of the most historically and architecturally significant hotels on Miami Beach. Opened in 1954 and designed by Morris Lapidus, it was the most luxurious hotel on Miami Beach, and is thought to be the most significant building of Lapidus' career. Responsibilities Responsible to supply servers with food items and supplies for the front of the restaurant to function effectively. Responsible for general table maintenance and cleanliness of restaurants in accordance to specification, in a courteous and efficient manner. Examples of Duties , includes but is not limited to the following : 1. Serve general items such as soups, salads, and beverages to guests as necessary.2. Set tables with silverware and glassware, restocks server stations.3. Clean tabletops and chairs.4. Make coffee and keep a fresh supply of coffee and water available.5. Supply service bar with food such as soups, salads, and desserts.6. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge of electrical equipment usage. Working knowledge of acceptable standards of sanitation and proper chemical usage. Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, staff, and guests. Relevant experience in a high quality, high volume operation preferred.
