In this energetic role, you will create a welcoming atmosphere by preparing and serving delicious breakfast offerings, maintaining a clean and inviting dining area, and ensuring all food safety standards are meticulously followed. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation meet high standards Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen stations, and food service equipment in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, assembling, and portioning ingredients Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, and warming stations Greet guests warmly in person, answer questions about menu items, and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems while handling weights and food portions responsibly Follow food safety management protocols diligently to ensure compliance with health regulations Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is highly preferred; fine dining or catering experience is a plus Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety sanitizing procedures Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including lifting weights associated with food prep and cleaning supplies Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing inventory counts Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as coffee makers, toasters, and warming trays Strong customer service skills with an energetic attitude and positive approach to guest interactions Experience in wine knowledge or barista work is advantageous but not required Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Previous banquet or catering experience is beneficial; dietary aide experience is also valued A passion for the food industry with a focus on hospitality excellence Embark on an exciting journey where your energy fuels memorable mornings!
