Wash, peel, cut, slice, chop, trim, measure, mix, portion, label, date, store, and rotate vegetables, meats, seafood, rice, noodles, sauces, marinades, and other ingredients used in the restaurant's Chinese-style menu according to standardized recipes and supervisor instructions. Specific preparation tasks include rinsing produce; removing skins, stems, seeds, shells, and excess fat as directed; cutting vegetables, meats, and seafood into specified sizes; measuring and combining ingredients for sauces and marinades; weighing and portioning ingredients; and placing prepared ingredients into labeled foodstorage containers for refrigeration or delivery to the appropriate kitchen station. Equipment used for these duties includes kitchen knives and cleavers, peelers, cutting boards, mixing bowls, measuring cups and spoons, food scales, colanders and strainers, foodstorage containers, labels and date markers, sinks, and food-preparation carts. Prepare food components before cooking and deliver prepared ingredients to cooks and kitchen stations. The workers will not cook food and will not independently prepare finished menu items. They will not operate woks, stovetops, ranges, fryers, grills, ovens, or other heat-producing cooking equipment for the purpose of cooking food. All cooking is performed by cooks. Clean and sanitize work areas, kitchen equipment, utensils, cutting boards, food-storage areas, and kitchen floors using sinks, washing and sanitizing supplies, brushes, cloths, brooms, and mops. Carry food supplies, equipment, and utensils between storage and work areas; remove trash and clean garbage containers. Employer will provide on-the-job training. Six temporary, full-time Food Preparation Workers are needed for employment from October 27, 2026 through May 31, 2027. No minimum education or prior experience is required. The employer will provide on-the-job training. Employer will offer 35 hours of work per week. Work will generally be scheduled five days per week, including weekends and holidays. Available shift are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Specific workdays and shifts may vary based on business needs. All work will be performed at the employer's fixed worksite located at 6572 Pembroke Road, Miramar, Florida 33023. No travel between worksites is required. Workers are responsible for their daily transportation to and from the fixed worksite. Workers will be paid no less than $17.07 per hour. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid biweekly by check. The employer does not provide or arrange board, lodging, meals, or other facilities. The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law. No deductions not required by law will be made. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for reasonable inbound transportation and daily subsistence expenses from the place from which the worker departed to work for the employer to the place of employment. Transportation reimbursement will be based on the most economical and reasonable common-carrier cost. Upon completion of the work contract period, or if the worker is dismissed by the employer before the end of the work contract period, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable return transportation and daily subsistence from the place of employment to the place from which the worker departed to work for the employer, except where the worker will not return because of subsequent employment or where the employer has properly reported the worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. During required travel, daily subsistence will be reimbursed at no less than $16.78 per day and up to $68.00 per day with receipts. Necessary lodging expenses during travel will also be reimbursed as required by law. The employer will reimburse H-2B workers during the first workweek for all visa, visa-processing, border-crossing, and other related fees mandated by the government, excluding passport expenses and expenses primarily for the worker's benefit. The employer will provide, without charge or deposit, all tools, supplies, uniforms, protective equipment, and other equipment required to perform the assigned duties.
