Cafe Attendant

We are a private membership Tennis Club seeking a friendly and efficient Cafe Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service in our cafe, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our members and guests. This role involves handling food and beverage orders, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the overall operations of the cafe.

Key Responsibilities Customer Service:

Greet and assist members and guests with a positive attitude. Take and prepare food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.

Food and Beverage Preparation:

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, snacks, and light meals. Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met in food preparation and handling.

Food Inventory Management:

Monitor and track inventory levels of food and beverage items. Assist with ordering and restocking supplies to ensure the cafe and Reception is well-stocked. Perform regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records.

Cafe Maintenance:

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and equipment. Restock supplies as needed and ensure the cafe is well-presented at all times.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other club staff and managers to ensure smooth operations. Assist in training new team members as required.

Additional Duties:

Support special events or promotions as needed. Perform other duties assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous experience in a food service or customer service role preferred, but not required.

Skills:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds. Must be able to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously and work as part of a team.

Availability:

Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
