In this vital role, you will support the front-of-house operations by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. Duties Assist servers by bussing tables promptly and efficiently, ensuring a clean and inviting dining area. Clear and reset tables with proper table setting techniques to prepare for new guests. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by cleaning dining surfaces, floors, and service stations regularly. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of chairs, tables, and supplies using safe lifting practices. Support food delivery by carrying trays and assisting with food service when needed, ensuring food safety standards are met. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly. Support catering events or large parties by setting up tables, serving food, or assisting with cleanup as required. Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of sanitation, cleaning procedures, and safe manual handling practices. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and provide excellent customer service. Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, heavy lifting, bending, and moving quickly around the restaurant. Familiarity with table setting standards, serving techniques, and food safety protocols is advantageous.
