Job Description
The Garden is hiring a friendly, dependable Cafeteria Assistant to help keep school lunch service organized and welcoming. This role focuses on checking students in and handing out prepared meals. Responsibilities Work on the lunch line, greet students, and check their names against the daily order list. Match each student with the correct prepared meal and hand it to them. Keep the lunch line moving efficiently and help students who have questions. Communicate missing orders or meal discrepancies to the cafeteria team. Help set up, organize, and clean the meal distribution area. Schedule & Pay $17 per hour Monday-Friday, 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Follow the school calendar, with all major holidays and school breaks off. What We're Looking For Someone who is punctual, organized, attentive to detail, and comfortable working with children in a busy school environment. A positive attitude and clear communication are essential. At The Garden, we're more than a lunch line, we're a familiar face at the table.
