Job Description

Beach Club Food & Beverage Attendant - Job Description Position Summary The Beach Club Food & Beverage Attendant supports daily operations at the Big Canoe POA Beach Club by providing excellent service to members and guests. This role requires a positive attitude, strong teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Responsibilities may be adjusted by the Food & Beverage Manager as needed. This is a seasonal position.
Key Responsibilities Guest Service:
Greet members and guests, take accurate food and beverage orders, and provide prompt, friendly service.
Food & Beverage:
Prepare and serve light menu items, snacks, and beverages (including alcohol when applicable).
Cleanliness & Safety:
Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work and dining areas; follow all safety and health guidelines.
Operations:
Use POS system, handle cash/credit transactions, restock supplies, and assist with setup/breakdown of seating or beach/pool areas.
Teamwork:
Communicate effectively with staff and maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times. Qualifications & Skills Customer-focused with a friendly, professional attitude Ability to work outdoors in a pool/beach environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Basic math and English communication skills Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred High school diploma (preferred) Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Ability to obtain required food handling or alcohol service certifications (e.g., TIPS) Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings Physical Requirements Ability to stand/walk for extended periods Lift, push, or carry up to 50 lbs Perform repetitive motions, bending, and reaching Comfortable working in outdoor/heat conditions Additional Expectations Maintain professional appearance and clean uniform Follow all POA policies and service standards Respond quickly to member needs and report issues to management Assist with daily duties, inventory, and general upkeep of facilities
