Job Description
Job Summary Breakfast Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in public areas of the hotel while also preparing, setting up, and maintaining the breakfast service. This position ensures guests experience a clean, comfortable environment and a welcoming dining area each morning. Key Responsibilities Set up and break down the breakfast area according to hotel standards Prepare and replenish food and beverage items (e.g., coffee, juice, pastries, hot items) Ensure food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed at all times Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and serving stations Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs Provide friendly and attentive service to guests during breakfast hours Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous hotel, housekeeping, or food service experience is a plus Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Good communication and customer service skills Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25-50 pounds Work Environment Fast-paced hotel setting Combination of indoor public spaces and kitchen/breakfast areas Requires physical activity including walking, bending, lifting, and standing Key Competencies Reliability and punctuality Teamwork and cooperation Time management Customer-focused attitude Flexibility to handle multiple tasks Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of supplies and equipment Ability to perform repetitive motions
