Job Summary The Southeast Valley Community School District is seeking a dependable, energetic, and team-oriented Food Service Cook to join our Nutrition Services Department. This position plays a vital role in preparing and serving nutritious meals to our students while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment.

Based on district salary schedule and experience Essential Duties Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch items according to district menus and nutrition guidelines. Assist with food preparation, serving, and cleanup. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Receive and store food and supplies. Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and school personnel. Maintain accurate production and inventory records. Provide excellent customer service to students and staff. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Food service, restaurant, school nutrition, or related experience preferred. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Why Southeast Valley?
