Type:

full-time The Edgewood Locker is seeking a highly detail-oriented and self-motived individual to join our team as a Part-Time Food Safety Compliance Assistant . This role is ideal for someone with experience in USDA-inspected facilities who is passionate about food safety and documentation excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and complete food safety and HACCP records in compliance with USDA regulations. Maintain accurate, legible, and timely documentation. Identify and report any discrepancies or non-conformances in records. Collaborate with team members to ensure sanitation and safety protocols are followed. Review and maintenance of USDA label approvals. Regular training and retraining of the team on food safety requirements. Support internal audits and inspections as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of

QA/HACCP

experience or equivalent undergraduate degree. Prior experience working in an inspected facility or field is desired but willing to train the right person. Strong understanding of HACCP principles and food safety documentation. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Trustworthy and self-driven with a commitment to high-quality work. Good handwriting and proficient computer skills. Sanitation-minded with a proactive approach to cleanliness and compliance.
