Job Goal:
To prepare and serve school meals in a safe and clean environment. It is the goal every position to provide services which will ensure the successful and efficient operations of the FCSD.
Qualifications:
High School diploma Experience or equivalent training in food services preferred Ability to positively interact with support staff/district employees and community members Provide documentation of acceptable health via an initial employment physical with capabilities to fulfill the duties of this position Maintain good personal hygiene Ability to meet deadlines Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Responsibilities:
Adhere to applicable state and federal laws, rules, and regulations, safety standards, board policies and administrative rules. Assist the kitchen manager with food preparation as assigned. Assist in utensil/pan/sheet pan washing or operating dish washing machine. Prepare food items as directed. Measure and mix recipes as part of the food preparation process. Contribute to the cleanliness, efficiency and successful operation of the food preparation/serving facility. Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast menu items. Utilize the HACCP principles in assuring the safety of food preparation and implementation of standard operating procedures as applied to the food service area. Dress appropriately for the position and work required. Complete all general duties and tasks associated with this assigned position in a timely and efficient manner. The listed responsibilities would be typical. Other responsibilities may be assigned by the Building Administrator/Director of Auxiliary Services on an "as needed" basis.
