Job Overview We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and energetic Breakfast Attendant to join our hotel team. The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing and maintaining our daily breakfast service while providing a clean, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for our guests. The ideal candidate is a happy early riser who enjoys interacting with guests, brings a positive attitude to work, and takes pride in cleanliness, food presentation, and excellent service. Key Responsibilities Prepare and set up the breakfast area before service begins Prepare and serve breakfast items according to hotel standards Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, helpful service Keep breakfast stations clean, organized, attractive, and fully stocked Monitor food and beverages throughout service and replenish items as needed Prepare and maintain coffee and beverage stations Monitor food temperatures and follow proper food safety procedures Properly label, date, rotate, and store all food products Check food for freshness and remove expired or unacceptable products Clean and sanitize counters, tables, food preparation areas, equipment, and guest seating areas Wash dishes, utensils, serving pieces, and other breakfast items Maintain clean and organized refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas Keep breakfast food and supplies properly stocked and notify management when items need to be ordered Break down and thoroughly clean the breakfast area after service Sweep, mop, remove trash, and complete other cleaning duties as needed Assist with keeping the lobby and surrounding public areas clean and welcoming Follow all hotel sanitation, safety, and chemical-handling procedures Respond professionally to guest questions and requests Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Food Certification Training provided Must be a dependable early riser and able to consistently report to work at the scheduled start time Friendly, positive, and professional attitude Excellent customer service and communication skills Dependable and punctual with reliable attendance Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and food presentation Ability to follow all food safety and sanitation standards Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout the shift Previous hotel, restaurant, breakfast, or food service experience is preferred Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to bend, reach, lift, carry, push, and pull food and supplies as needed Comfortable working efficiently in a fast-paced environment Work Schedule Monday
