You'll be responsible for preparing food items, operating POS systems, managing customer orders, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. This is a part-time role, and we will train the right person! Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards Operate Square POS, cash handling, and order management Engage with customers warmly, taking their orders accurately and describing what the food is like Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace in compliance with food safety regulations Operate kitchen equipment efficiently and safely, including grills and refrigeration units Manage cash register operations, processing cash transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service Ensure food handling procedures adhere to sanitation standards and food safety protocols at all times Qualifications Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or food industry roles is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems is a plus Strong skills in food preparation, handling, and sanitation practices Excellent time management skills to handle fast-paced service periods effectively Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and transaction processing Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Retail sales experience including upselling techniques is advantageous Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper sanitation procedures Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to providing excellent service and food at our outdoor brewery taproom!
