Responsible for completing assigned food service duties.

Essential Functions:
Assist cook with food preparation. Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines and food service requirements in accordance with regulatory, licensing, and agency standards. Prepare table in dining areas. Serve tables before, during and after meal service. Assist in care and cleaning of dining room and kitchen areas, utensils, equipment, and supplies. Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest, and fair manner.
Position Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Background check clearance required. Food Sanitation or Food Handlers Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire. Two-step TB test required. Experience operating kitchen equipment in a safe manner required. Previous waitstaff experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to comprehend and follow instructions. Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
