In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Prepare food items with precision, following established recipes and food safety protocols to ensure quality and consistency. Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring their needs are met promptly. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, blenders, and POS (Point of Sale) systems for processing transactions. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning workstations, utensils, equipment, and dining areas in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures. Assist with food handling tasks such as portioning, weighing ingredients, and managing food storage to prevent contamination. Support catering and banquet events by setting up serving stations and assisting with large-scale food service operations. Follow all food safety management practices to uphold hygiene standards and prevent foodborne illnesses. Handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace safely while adhering to health guidelines. Provide excellent in-person customer service by addressing guest inquiries, taking orders accurately, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining attention to detail in cash handling procedures. Support dietary accommodations by understanding dietary needs and assisting in meal modifications when necessary. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is highly preferred; experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is advantageous. Familiarity with food preparation techniques, food safety sanitizing procedures, and operating kitchen equipment is essential. Experience with catering or banquet service enhances your ability to manage large or special events efficiently. Knowledge of wine service or barista skills adds value to the role but is not mandatory. Strong customer service skills demonstrated through previous roles involving in-person interactions are crucial. Ability to handle manual tasks such as weight handling safely within a fast-paced environment is required.
