Support catering and banquet events by setting up serving stations and assisting with large-scale food service operations. Follow all food safety management practices to uphold hygiene standards and prevent foodborne illnesses. Handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace safely while adhering to health guidelines. Provide excellent in-person customer service by addressing guest inquiries, taking orders accurately, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining attention to detail in cash handling procedures. Support dietary accommodations by understanding dietary needs and assisting in meal modifications when necessary. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is highly preferred; experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is advantageous. Familiarity with food preparation techniques, food safety sanitizing procedures, and operating kitchen equipment is essential. Experience with catering or banquet service enhances your ability to manage large or special events efficiently. Knowledge of wine service or barista skills adds value to the role but is not mandatory. Strong customer service skills demonstrated through previous roles involving in-person interactions are crucial.
